Eleanor and Prague

Eleanor is astounded at this sight! She cannot believe how bright the city is — it must be lit by a thousand candles! She wonders if Lord Hugh has ever been here, and, if he has not, how she would love to visit it with him. Surely, there would be some dark corners, like the buttery, where he might…just might…take her in his arms again. Then she frowns and scolds herself. What is she thinking? Lord Hugh has asked for her sister’s hand in marriage. If only she and Lord Hugh could escape everything and wander the streets of Prague, hand in hand. There must be a way….she will find a way, she vows.
