Eleanor Desperately Wants to Know…

…becaause she’s heard the whispered gossip in the castle  and, although she’s heard the phrase, she has no idea what it means.  This fact is very disconcerting to Eleanor, because she’s one of the few literate people she knows, this being 1272.  Of course, she dare not ask Lord Hugh; she’s quite certain that all he needs is more fodder to add to his mistaken belief that she is a naive ninny. So, she sits in her solar, staring out at the forest, asking herself, “What is USA Today and what does it have to do with me?”  Naturally, she doesn’t have access to this: http://www.usatoday.com/story/happyeverafter/2013/02/18/historical-romance-new-releases-february/1928719/  So, in her befuddlement, she ponders what the letters could mean: United Serfs Anonymous? Unaware Servants Association?  But, if you click on the link, all shall be made known to you.

Will you tell Eleanor? 🙂
